Adobe (ADBE) has been in the news lately. The Motley Fool financial website suggests it’s one of the best software stocks around, given its performance so far this year.

The news reminded me of this photo I made some years back, during PhotoShop World 2010 in Las Vegas, showing Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen welcoming faithful Photoshop fans to the annual event.

The day started off with Scott Kelby as Gene Simmons and others dressed as Kiss and performing their own twist on that 70s classic, “I wanna PhotoShop all night, and party every day!”

The photo was picked up later that month by The Wall Street Journal, demonstrating photos of business leaders outside the boardroom have value.

In the interest of full disclosure, I own Adobe stock as well as a Creative Cloud subscription.
